SYNOPSIS

Monday at 06:00 UTC... an unstable air-mass is present downstream of a trough over western Germany. Within this air-mass numerous showers and storms will likely develop. The chances of any severe weather with this activity are small given the fact that instability should be low and wind shear weak. Early Tuesday morning, a couple of thunderstorms may occur over northwestern Portugal and northwestern Spain as an unstable and moist air-mass is advected over these areas.

Convective activity is expected obver the North Sea as well, but lightning should be sporadic or nonexistent.
